This shade post repair was completed at Worldwide RV in Mesa, AZ, after a forklift accidentally bent one of the steel support poles holding up the RV lot shade structure. Thankfully, no one was hurt—just the post! And in true full-circle fashion, the same forklift that caused the damage helped hold everything in place during the fix.
To safely support the structure, I welded a temporary T-support to stabilize the overhead shade while I measured, cut, and fit a new piece of square steel tubing into place. For added strength and long-term durability, I welded the replacement post to a custom 18″ x 18″ foundation support plate, which was anchor-bolted into the concrete.
Once welded and secure, I finished the job with bright yellow paint at the base to match the other poles and improve visibility—helping prevent future accidents. Now, the structure is as good as new, if not better with its upgraded base support.
With summer approaching fast, I needed a shaded spot to park the Mobile METAL Medics trailer and a cooler place to work on projects. Rather than starting from scratch or spending a lot, I decided to repurpose some old aluminum ladders I had on hand.
I dismantled the ladders, made precise cuts, and then welded and bolted everything together to create a durable custom shade structure. To finish it off, I added brand-new corrugated roofing sheets—the only material I had to purchase—for a total cost of under $500.
Built with recycled materials and welded to withstand the Arizona heat, this project proves that practical solutions can also be creative and cost-effective. It’s now a functional and shady workspace that’s ready for anything summer brings!
This Toyota Land Cruiser got a serious upgrade! The owner installed 35-inch tires, but they were rubbing against the frame and sheet metal when turning or flexing. To fix this, I performed a frame chop, cutting the frame back about 2 inches and trimming the surrounding sheet metal for better clearance.
After smoothing everything out, I capped the frame to keep out debris and reinforced the area for durability. Now, the owner gets the aggressive look and performance of big tires—without worrying about tire or frame damage when off-roading or making sharp turns in the city. Another solid upgrade done right!

I recently designed and built a custom “MONSTER” motocross ramp.
The ramp measures 9 feet long and 4 feet tall, giving riders a solid launch for jumps. I constructed it using 1×1 and 1×2 square tubing for a strong yet lightweight frame, then finished the surface with expanded sheet metal for optimal traction.
One of my favorite parts of this build was the Monster logo. Using a CNC plasma cutter, I precision-cut the logo, then welded custom tabs to raise it off the surface—giving it a bold, dimensional look that stands out. This ramp isn’t just functional; it’s a statement piece for any motocross setup.

For mom’s birthday I made her these new vine panels for the front of our house. The old window trellises were falling apart, and she has put so much time and love into these vines I wanted to create some more durable ones to support them.
I used 3/4-inch square tubing for durability and added custom brick mounts to ensure they are securely attached to the brick exterior. To complete the project, I matched the green paint to our house’s existing paint.
Now these trellises not only provide sturdy support for her climbing vines but also enhance the look of the house!
She loves them ;).

I’m currently working on a project at a beautiful ranch cabin. The property is home to horses, cattle, and even a couple of pigs—it’s such a cool spot! The task is to extend the existing cattle fence to create a dedicated area for the horses to run and roam freely.
This project involves welding and some custom fabrication to ensure the new fence is strong, durable, and built to last. The goal is to create a fence that complements the ranch’s charm while providing a safe and spacious area for the horses to enjoy.
Stay tuned for updates and the final reveal of this awesome project!

Billy came to me with a unique project for his travel trailer. He needed a custom rack that was lightweight, durable, and visually appealing. After some collaboration, we decided aluminum was the perfect choice to achieve all three goals.
I took measurements, fabricated the individual aluminum pieces, and completed the final welds. Extra care was taken to ensure that the welds themselves were as clean and aesthetically pleasing as the rest of the design. The finished rack is strong, functional, and blends seamlessly with the trailer’s overall look.

Terry recently expanded his pool and asked me to extend their fence to match the new layout. They also wanted to create a play area for their dogs. Using some of the original fence materials they provided, Rocko and I sourced the remaining supplies and carefully fabricated the new sections to match the existing fence perfectly.
As of now, the project is still underway but is expected to be completed within the next few weeks.
"Had Erick build my custom pool fence to match what was existing. He is young and talented. He is a local kid with a new family. Honest hard working and trustworthy.I have known him for many years but did not know how talented he is . It was a big job and all custom. I will post some photos of the amazing work that was done. If you need some work done please reach out to this guyI cant say enough good things about him"

Dollar General in Chandler reached out to us after vandals had damaged their security gate. We quickly assessed the damage and determined that it was repairable. To prevent future issues, we also recommended reinforcing the gate with cross beams to make it even stronger than before.
Once the repairs and reinforcements were completed, we finished the job with a fresh coat of paint, which the owner greatly appreciated.

I only had a small part in this project, but it was fun being involved. These solar-powered provide motion detection lights and cameras to protect construction sites and events.
They are mobile, so they can be easily rolled to their specific spot at the construction or event site, but then they have trailer jacks which are extended to ensure they are stable and balanced. My part was welding the pieces to the trailer jack mounts to make this part possible.
